When we assemble components and systems, we also carry out quality control and testing. What we deliver is ready to install. You no longer have to carry out an incoming goods inspection, but can start final assembly immediately.

Instead of individual parts, we test the entire group. After all, the function lies in the entire ensemble. We make sure that everything works together reliably.

Some manufacturers are reluctant to install assemblies that they have not developed themselves. We have no reservations in this regard. We are experienced, coordinate closely with our customers and work on the basis of responsibility and trust. We bring series launches safely to the finish line and provide continuous support for your production.

Over the course of our 40 years of experience, our assembly projects have covered a respectable range. In series assembly, for example, we have assembled C-brackets and cathode drives. As part of project assembly, we were responsible for transport systems and gearboxes for trimming machines.

We are also equipped to handle a wide range of quantities. Apart from individual pieces and small series, we assemble everything from small to large series.

This development was only possible because we always think beyond the assembly process. For example, before we assemble individual parts, we clean them carefully. Once they have been assembled into a module, many areas can no longer be reached. For us, cleaning in advance is an integral part of an assembly and essential for its function in the machine or system.

Successful series assembly is based on many factors. These include flexibility, organization, digitalization, logistics, measurement technology, quality inspection and continuous improvement. We always keep an eye on this and much more and map it in processes.

WASSERMANN offers you flexible assembly capacities that realize a wide variety of products through adapted assembly concepts. Depending on the product and series size, we assemble semi-automatically or manually. All assembly instructions are created for the complete assembly. Thanks to multi-shift operation and separate capacity planning for customer and in-house products, we are always able to react.

We work with sophisticated material flow and logistics concepts. All processes, from procurement to dispatch, are geared towards efficiency and delivery capability. A close-knit supplier network with well-established processes supports the punctual supply of components. Our store floor’s digital tools guarantee order tracking and batch tracing at all times.

Before an assembly leaves our assembly department for dispatch, we test and inspect it using state-of-the-art equipment. We also carry out initial sample inspections in accordance with FAI and EMPB.

We are a strong and experienced player in series assembly. Nevertheless, our aim remains to keep improving. To this end, we constantly coordinate with our customers and regularly check processes for potential improvements.

Organizing and implementing procurement is becoming more complex. More and more companies are coming up against the limits of efficiently mapping procurement processes. We take the burden off you by taking care of the systems and subsystems of your machines and plants.

Experienced in procurement, assembly, logistics and tolerance chains

We know the challenges of assembly processes. And we know how to solve them, because we have been supplying many of our automation customers for decades with ready-to-install systems that we assemble and test ourselves. On-time parts procurement, coordination of purchased parts, logistics, warehousing and availability of standard parts, organization, structure and use of parts lists – for us, assembly is a field in which we are just as well versed as in production.

Outsourcing assembly to an experienced partner makes the entire tolerance chain easier to handle. On request, we can check for you whether the components interact optimally and, if necessary, make adjustments. We ensure that the system is significantly better than the sum of its parts.

We are happy to pass on the experience we gain from your project to you – supplemented by our knowledge of development, design and production. You benefit from specific optimization suggestions for potential follow-up projects. There are always ways to make a product or process even better.

Supplier management, assembly process, packaging and delivery: all with WASSERMANN

We offer series assembly of systems, modules and products. Our workflow is optimized accordingly. Our staff are specially trained for assembly tasks and can also bring a wealth of experience to your project. Each series assembly takes place in dedicated assembly areas with appropriately equipped assembly stations.

From the assembly concept to the assembly flow with one-piece flow, production control with Kanban and digital worker information systems, assembly at WASSERMANN is modern, efficient and geared towards high-quality results.

We also take care of all upstream and downstream processes for you. We conclude framework agreements with suppliers for standard and purchased parts, set up Kanban systems and organize everything for product-specific packaging and safe transport to you.
