Our in-house production has always been the foundation of WASSERMANN. On over 3,000 m², highly trained teams work on modern machining centers, high-precision grinding technology and with measuring and testing equipment that sets standards. This results in components and assemblies of reproducibly high quality – from individual parts to complex systems.

With up to thirteen milling centers, including 5-axis machining with automated tool and pallet handling, as well as eight turning and turning-milling centers, we are flexibly positioned. Workpiece dimensions of up to 5,000 × 3,000 mm and weights of up to 10 tons are just as safe for us to process as intricate small parts.

Together we can develop something ingenious: We work with you to develop new manufacturing concepts, support you with co-engineering, build prototypes, carry out tests and optimize series production.

We machine almost all metallic materials and also give components from 3D printing the perfect finish through precise post-processing. Immediately after machining, the parts are sent to pre-cleaning with HIO-free cooling lubricant within 30 minutes – and are therefore optimally prepared for our subsequent high-purity services.

Precise, clean, reliable

Cleanliness is crucial for the functionality and service life of high-tech components. Our cleaning services ensure that your components achieve the required level of cleanliness – regardless of size or material.

We work with modern cleaning systems that deliver reproducible results and reliably remove particles, grease or residues. Depending on the application, we use methods such as immersion, spraying, high-pressure or ultrasonic cleaning. These are supported by superheated steam equipment and treated osmosis water for virtually residue-free results.

Drying is carried out by spinning, air or nitrogen flow or hot air. Supplementary laboratory analyses ensure that limit values for particles and residues are reliably adhered to.

We serve industries such as semiconductors, optics, medical technology and aerospace. Whether small parts or complex assemblies – with graduated processes from pre-cleaning to ultra-fine cleaning, we achieve the exact level of cleanliness required.

To ensure that your components reliably meet the required cleanliness standards, we rely on consistent quality control throughout the entire cleaning process. Even after pre-cleaning, we check visually and – depending on requirements – with particle and residue measurements whether all steps meet the specifications.

This continuous monitoring makes it possible to make adjustments at an early stage and guarantees a reproducible, documented result at the end – precisely tailored to industry-specific requirements. We have modern in-house methods such as microscopy, black light and white light testing at our disposal. We also work with specialized laboratory partners to carry out further analyses such as residual gas measurements or particle determinations in accordance with standards.

All test and analysis results are carefully documented and serve as proof of quality for our customers. In this way, we create a secure basis for the successful use of your products in highly sensitive industries such as semiconductor technology, optics, medical technology or aerospace.

n high-tech applications, absolute cleanliness counts – and that doesn’t end in the cleanroom. To ensure that your sensitive components arrive in perfect condition, we rely on sophisticated packaging systems that are much more than a simple wrapping.

Our packaging processes are carried out exclusively under strictly controlled cleanroom conditions of ISO classes 7 to 5, with trained specialists ensuring compliance with the highest standards of cleanliness. We use high-quality film composites with minimal outgassing and low particle generation, which are subjected to extensive quality tests beforehand. Your components are double-packed as standard – in moisture-impermeable special film and additional cleanroom-compatible polyethylene film. For particularly demanding requirements, we even offer a triple packaging system.

We also develop individual solutions according to your specifications – from temperature-controlled transport to packaging under inert gas. Modern vacuum packaging units and high-purity materials ensure that your products leave the cleanroom in perfect condition and remain optimally protected from environmental influences until they are used.
